Happy Birthday My Funny Girl

Excuse the lateness of this letter but we have been busy with your birthday celebrations and buying a house so we have a place to put all of your new toys. My sweet girl in now 2! In a way if feels like you should be so much older, because you are so brilliant, but it also feels like it was just yesterday that you were born. Last year you still had a little baby in you but now that is totally gone. You are a full fledged little girl. You definitly are not a toddler. You do not toddle, you run, you hop, you dance and when you are in a mood, you throw yourself on the floor screaming. Yes you are 2. People say that that 2's are terrible but I would not call them terrible. You are not and never will be terrible. Just very, very challenging sometimes.

You love to sing and love an audience. You are not shy and tell everyone hello and won't stop until they say hello back. You want to do everything yourself ("Annabelle can") and learn very quickly. You have an amazing memory and suprise us all the time with the things you rember. You still love to read and have now memorized your favorite books and read them to us. The biggest differences compared to last year is that you are a pretty good sleeper, although you like to be up late. And you eat really well. Two things that you were not good at one year ago.

I still marvel at the fact that you are my girl. How lucky I am to have such a funny, and smart girl. But no matter how old you get and how many birthdays we will celebrate, you will ALWAYS be my beautiful BABY girl.
